MileOn by PC*MILER is a powerful trip planning app that professional drivers use for trip planning—to map out the most practical routes, view real-time weather conditions, schedule hours of service (HOS) breaks and choose the right rest stops for their needs while staying DOT compliant.
With MileOn by PC*MILER, drivers can:
- Plan trips with breaks at suggested or preferred rest stops along the way.
- Enter their available HOS and trip preferences in order to generate intelligent, route-specific rest stop suggestions.
- Choose truck stops and rest areas based on location, available hours or important available amenities, such as showers.
- View integrated real-time traffic and weather alerts, up to 48 hours in advance, to keep ahead of constantly changing road and weather conditions that may impact travel.
Once a driver selects a desired stop, MileOn by PC*MILER will update the trip plan so you know exactly where to go. Not only does this help maximize HOS, but it can also improve overall customer service by helping you achieve delivery windows.
The MileOn by PC*MILER app is available to Android and iOS users in both free and paid (premium) versions. The paid version of the app includes additional features, such as sophisticated HOS planning.
Voice-Guided Navigation
MileOn does not provide voice-guided navigation, however, all newer versions of MileOn (1.9 and higher) do support the use of our CoPilot GPS app—our voice-guided navigation app for commercial vehicles—installed on the same device to navigate their planned trips with CoPilot.
